You win some…you lose some. That’s all that can be said about the most recent episode of The Queens Court, Rapper KHIA and Internet Personality TS Madison’s web series that streams live on Facebook each Monday.
The two “dishonorable judges” booked their biggest guest yet as they welcomed Academy Award winning comedienne and actress Mo’Nique to set things straight about her controversial request to boycott Netflix over pay inequality. After going live, it was evident that the show was having multiple technical difficulties. Fans of the show have complained about the recent changes to the shows production, as it appears the hosts have tried to up the production value of the show. The show which started out in Madison’s living room, now is streamed from her basement on what they are calling their courtroom. On the most recent episode, Khia is visibly upset at the technical difficulties. She mouths some words to her co-host and begins rubbing her shoulders. At 8:20 Khia gets up and leaves the “courtroom.
The technical difficulties continued and TS Madison attempts to salvage the show by getting Mo’Nique on Facetime. The video stops and the show goest live again later only on Facebook. This time, Mo’Nique is present via Facetime and Madison attempts to interview Mo’Nique. As Madison reads over Mo’Nique’s Netflix contract, she loses the connection.
TS Madison attempts to remain calm as she loses her guest and her co-host. Khia re-appears shortly, only to tell Madison that she’ll call her tomorrow. TS Madison insists that the show will go on, but eventually gives up and ends the live broadcast. It wasn’t a good look but any publicity is good publicity and with Mo’Niques name attached to this fiasco, the show may get a major profile boost.
Mo'Nique stayed live on Periscope, where we can hear TS Madison pleading with Khia to "just knock it out!" Fast Forward to 19:00 on the video below to hear what happened behind the scenes!
